At the Barbers [video]
Carrie spent a lot of time last night listening to music and watching wedding films on VIMEO. She is becoming quite the little filmmaker. Today she explains that she has this vision for a video… This is the end result! Carrie and I both shot the video. This was Carrie’s first time using the 7D and she did a really good job. I’m quite surprised really! Carrie did all the editing – she is getting quite good at that as well. Now that I realize she is a natural edited I will have to put her talents to work on our business.

working on the shop
The UPS man dropped off my Canon 17-55 2.8 this morning. I’m really excited! I’ve been without a lens for my 7D for several weeks now. I took the pictures below while helping Alan work on his shop. You will have to excuse the lens flare shots. I really haven’t used a professional camera much, so the look is still “cool” to me. I’d love to get a professional flash so I can light up my subject while keeping my sky exposed correctly.
blending layers
This is the result of my first attempt at using different blending techniques in photoshop. I was quite surprised by how very uninteresting pictures made great textures. The photo of the tree was originally taken by Jackie.
